TYRAN PARKE
IN
A LITTLE KNIGHT MUSIC
6 APRIL 2008 AT 3PM

One of Australia’s most charismatic leading men, Tyran Parke brings his New York inspired one man show to Riverside.

During his triumphant portrayal of George in Sunday in the Park with George, Tyran was accepted into the International Cabaret Conference at Yale University. The journey that followed included being discovered in a jazz bar by Liza Minelli, dining with Stephen Sondheim and winding up at Rikers Island maximum security prison.

As a self-styled Don Quixote, Tyran sets out on a series of delightful musical quests which explore his childhood, showbiz career, aspirations and passion for music. Along
the journey Tyran charges headlong into Gershwin, Sondheim, Lloyd Webber, Peggy Lee, U2, Dolly Parton and Playschool.

"His personality and singing is a delight " ~ The Age

"Parke can infuse a song with ample warmth to lift it beyond cliché. A glowing performance " ~ Sydney Morning Herald
